Carrie, this is one of the most beautiful things I've ever read.   I didn't know Linda very well, but we were in Swing Choir together, and once I went over to her house, at her request, to give her a permanent.  If you ever saw her hair really frizzy during our senior year......that was my handiwork.  She was very sweet about it. Said it was just the way she wanted it! 

Your description of her was perfect.  She was a confident girl with a golden heart.  Thanks for the reminder to make contact with those we love. I always say "It's important to make sure the people you love, know that you do" and you've reminded me that there are some others I need to tell.
